Pedair Afon Ministry Area
Over the last few years the Church In Wales has been encouraging
all parishes to explore grouping with other parishes in the locality
to build bigger and more robust areas, so called Ministry Areas. The
intention is then that over time we will join with Aberkenfig and
the Garw valley and the Ogmore valley to build a new space. Its
going to take time and its all going to be with God's leading but
that is the direction of travel.
We got together curious representatives from the four areas and the
five parishes within those areas to have an Ice Breaker evening in
June 2021 to start the wheels turning. At that meeting we had a
video and a quiz that showed us we have so much in common across all
areas already before we even think about what to do together.

Each of the parishes in the ‘Ministry Area to be’ has been working
in a hybrid way over the last year in response to Covid and so there
is lots to view online if you wish. I have gathered together the Websites
and Facebook pages for each area so we can continue the
journey together though we be based in different places.
